The Way to Health Charity Foundation works with the Way to Health Medical Centre in the Dnipro region of Ukraine, close to communities that live with the consequences of war every day. Since 2022, their team has helped Ukrainian service members, veterans and civilians rebuild their health after serious injuries, trauma and prolonged psychological stress.
More than 2,500 patients have completed rehabilitation with their support. Behind that number are people learning to walk again, adapting to life after amputation, managing chronic pain, recovering confidence and reconnecting with their families and communities. For every patient, recovery is personal — medical and rehabilitation teams develop individual plans that respond to each person’s physical condition, psychological needs and goals.
Rehabilitation support for Ukrainian veterans is provided free of charge. Donations allow the centre to cover care that public funding does not fully meet, purchase equipment and make complete courses of rehabilitation available when patients need them.
